Jesus Carmona – classical and flamenco dance graduate – was elected at the age of 25 Best Dancer during the 20th competition of Spanish and Flamenco Dance in Madrid. He learned flamenco with the greatest, such as Antonio Canales, Eva Yerbabuena, Domingo Ortega, Manuela Carrasco. He started his professional career at the age of 16, among prestigious companies like Carmen Cortes, El Güito and Antonio Canales to name a few.
He then was noticed as a soloist and was invited by Lola Greco, Isaac de los Reyes and Olga Pericet.
In 2006, he performed his first production, El Silencio de la Luna, which was a real success. He became in 2007 the first dancer of the Spanish National Ballet and remained so until 2010 when he joined the company Rojas & Rodriguez for a tour in Asia.
He then dedicated himself to his second show, Cuna Negra y Blanca, performed in 2011 at the Flamenco Biennal in Sevilla.
Ever since, Jesus Carmona has not left the international stages, nor stopped performing.
