Diego Amador is a real musical phenomenon. It is almost impossible to describe his music which mixes traditional flamenco with avant-garde. He is a musician whose style is truly unusual. He can only be compared to the best classical music composers that mastered perfectly each aspect of their art: he is able to compose, direct, play an awful lot of instruments and he is a piano maestro.
His unusualness resides in his virtuous mastering of his instrument, without taking any lesson.
His music blends traditional elements of flamenco and those of jazz. It also borrows some early 20th classical music sonorities. He is so creative other composers can be cabbage-like. And above all, Diego is the embodiment of Flamenco.
